Scott Brownrigg has been ranked 5th in Building Magazine’s 2016 Top 50 Architects league table; rising up 5 places from 2015. The Top 50 Architects are ranked by the total number of chartered architectural staff employed by practices.

This ranking forms part of the wider annual Top 150 Consultants league table by Building Magazine. The annual league table ranks the biggest UK consultants by number of employees and includes surveyors, architects, engineers and project managers.

Moving up 11 places from last year, Scott Brownrigg is now positioned 40th in the table. This fantastic achievement reflects the significant business developments and positive changes that Scott Brownrigg has undergone over the past year. These include two key moves: in New York, the practice opened an office to support expansion into North America; in the UK, it acquired GMW Architects and GMW Architects International. These now operate under the Scott Brownrigg brand, strengthening the practice’s expertise in transport, aviation and City of London schemes.

Scott Brownrigg is also a finalist for the Building Award for Architectural Practice of the Year. The winner will be announced on 8 November.
