Acanthus Architects LW rebrands to Scott Brownrigg

On the 21 May 2019 rail infrastructure specialist Acanthus Architects LW will trade under the Scott Brownrigg brand.

This follows the successful acquisition of Acanthus by global design practice Scott Brownrigg in November 2018. A subsequent 6 month transition period integrating staff, systems and processes is now complete. The team continue to be based in Chiswick, London, and are a pivotal part of Scott Brownrigg’s global design offering.

The 30-strong Chiswick team of architects, and historic building consultants are currently working with Transport for London, London Underground, DLR and Network Rail amongst others. With recently completed work including Meridian Water Network Rail station in the London Borough of Enfield, Tottenham Court Road station, Crossrail Paddington Bakerloo Line Link, the Metropolitan Line Extension and Bath Spa station listed building works as part of the Great Western Electrification Project. Current work includes Paddington Bakerloo line station works as part of the Paddington Square development, and Step-Free Access schemes to London Underground stations.

Their portfolio of housing, education, heritage and conservation work, in particular their expertise in PRS and Social Housing enhance Scott Brownrigg’s residential work. Current projects include London City Island residential development for Ecoworld Ballymore, restoration to Hogarth’s House Museum and a new modern educational building currently on site.
